"Nice little off the beaten path location. Basically in the center of everything. It's almost on top of Jemaa El Fnaa. Little restaurants, bigger, depending on what you want. Easy to meet your tour groups from here. Staff is friendly, attentive make an effort to know you. Dinner was a surprising 3 course affair and it was so good. Worth the stay"

"This property had such poor reviews, but I thought I’d see. The reviews were not wholly incorrect but I think my expectations were very different to others. I wanted somewhere safe, accessible with a good shower & clean sheets. That’s exactly what I got! The building definitely needs refurbishment, paint woodwork etc, but it’s uniquely aged ….. I loved it there."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Couleurs du Sud. Our room was clean and spacious. I particularly enjoyed the roof terrace, which had plenty of sun loungers, tables & chairs, and had a welcome breeze in the evenings. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were flexible about serving it early when we had a full day tour and had to leave early. The Riad staff were really helpful and friendly. I was really pleased that I booked this particular Riad and would stay here again."

"The Riad was an oasis of calm amongst the hustle and bustle of the medina. The staff were amazing with helping us to get around and making sure that everything was just right with out stay. I would definitely recommend booking the transport from the airport with them, because I am not confident I would have found the Riad on my own straight from a flight. Breakfast was amazing each day too. Couldnt fault the property at all."

"Great location in the Medina. Very easy to find and a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle of the local area. The staff were superb and the owner even slept in the property on our last night in order to make us breakfast earlier than usual because we had to leave early. Our only hiccup was the fact we ordered 4xTwin rooms and the property didn't cater for this despite me receiving confirmation (was this Hotels.com fault??). Not ideal for 8 lads when two of the rooms are doubles but they...

"I chose this Riad since it was good value and also had the pools and spa. I booked the spa package which was excellent and refreshing. Place isn't new but it's charming and I had a nice stay there. The breakfast was simple but nice, beds comfortable and they had air-conditioning which is much needed as it was very hot. The staff went above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, very helpful and friendly. Overall it was an excellent stay."

"We chose to stay here because we were flying out the next morning and wanted an easy drive to the airport. It took us maybe 10 minutes, if that, to get to the airport in the morning. Couldn't have been easier. The host of the property was very nice and welcoming, and made sure we knew about all the amenities. We ended up walking to the Medina, which took about 35 minutes but wasn't too bad. I would absolutely stay here again."

"I’ll start off good then end with the negatives. First, we had the nicest reception guy ever! He even fetched us a taxi one day because we were having a hard time. Super sweet guys! However, no one mentioned this location isn’t drivable. You have to walk there from a busy area which may be fine during the day but not for 2 girls at midnight. And they don’t have a sign! So we had to knock on neighbors doors until we found the right one. "
