"Booked a single room but was given a room for three,bed/ pillows very comfy,lovely clean towels and had toiletries, plenty of tea coffee suger and even biccies, staff were lovely very accommodating,although given I bigger room I’d much prefer fed the single,aircon better tv worked better but definitely would stay again,over road to shopping mall, woolies etc, might be budget but a very good budget hotel and no better location and great pool"

"The concrete in the community areas was quite dirty. The unit itself was not the cleanest with grime on the floor and some small cockroaches and ants causing problems. The hair dryer in the room was very noisy and on it's last legs. Also the exhaust fan in the bathroom was very noisy and about die."

"You have very limited choice when it comes to accommodation in this area and for the price paid I'd expected better. The public spaces and restaurants are clean but our room could have been cleaner. It was comfortable but tired looking with worn carpets, damaged fixtures and fittings and just in need of a refurb. Some external areas were taped off due to structural issues I assume. The air con in the room was adequate. Staff are great and the food was excellent and not badly priced considering...

"Not many choices right near Uluru, and it all felt SHOCKINGLY expensive for what it was ($50ish for a bus ride drop off/pick up?), but Uluru is a sight to see, and this hotel was fine. When we were gawking at the prices of everything, I just kept reminding myself that it must be very expensive to get things out to the middle of the outback. No regrets. "

"THE " Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge " was just such a refreshing place to stay at minimal cost. The staff at reception "LESLIE AND PAGE were so helpful and refreshingly honest in their attitude towards customers and their respective jobs. The cleaning and room preparation was excellent and the cleaning staff were most obliging in providing extra service if there was a requirement.. such as sugar, tea, milk, blankets etc. Kudos to the groundsmen for their efforts to keep all clean and tidy."

Pleasant stay.

"Hotel complex has many activities, many of which are free. There is a wide range of paid tours to take also. There are a couple of lookouts for sunrise and sunset worth taking. I did not use the swimming pool, but the area look nice. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Food at the bistro was good. There are lots of good shops for souvenirs and artwork."
