We enjoyed our two night stay at The Lost Camel. We used the easy shuttle bus between the other hotels and restaurants. Same bus stop/drop off location for the hop on/off bus. The airport pick and dropoff was very convenient to our stay. The IGA and shops (town square )are adjacent to the hotel.

The hotel was perfect for our visit! The pool was beautiful and opened every time I wanted to use it. The rooms were quiet and large and cool and comfortable and convenient to food market, shops and restaurants.We loved our stay!

The hotels in Ayers Rock are pretty expensive since they're so limited and there's a lot of demand from people who want to visit the Red Centre (i.e. Uluru, Kata Tjuta, ...) It was nice to be able to cool down in the pool and the rooms we're very spacious, but I did see a mouse in mine. But I mean you're in the dessert so what do you expect. Very friendly staff at the reception! There's not much around the resort, 1 supermarket and some shops.

The hotel is part of the complex around Uluru and so we had good access to the town square space. There are no bar or food facilities other than those in the square but you can use the bar and restaurant at Sails in the Desert so that was good. The room was a nice size and had what we needed for our stay, and the pool was great for cooling off. There is also a shuttle bus that takes you round the area if it’s too hot to walk..
