"Welcoming was great and staff are very polite. Rooms were okay but very outdated. Found a cockroach dead in the bathroom and highlighted it to the staff but nothing was done about it despite them saying it will be sorted which was very disappointing. Paid extra for the breakfast but I wouldn't recommend it. Very limited breakfast and doesn't cater for majority of diets. Location was quite good as shops and markets were close by. "The hotel was clean, our room was very spacious. However the bathroom was rusty and old. Simple changes like new soap dispenser (as they were rusty) and removing the masking tap from the painting on the wall. The bed was a large single and comfy. The breakfast wasn’t good, the buffet hot food was cold. The swimming pool was ok however there was only two sun lounges. The sun was also never on the pool However I would return again"

"The place is conveniently located within walking distance from the airport, making it a great option for travelers. While there isn’t much around apart from a small market, scooters are available on request, which was a huge plus. We found it to be great value for money, as having a scooter allowed us to explore a lot of the island with ease. I’d highly recommend it for those comfortable with driving scooters, as it really enhances the experience!"

"Lovely & peaceful hotel very close to Langkawi airport. The swimming pool overlooking the beach is magical especially at sunset. Buffet breakfast was very good. The only negative is the sea water, it looks dirty, very uninviting. "

"Very old, dirty hotel. First they gave us room with cigarettes smell, we asked for other room. They gave very old and dirty room. Toilet yellow, shower silicon yellow and black corners, the smell in the room is bad. "

"If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. Complimentary pickup/dropoff service...

"The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was very comfortable and the pool was right outside the room. The staff were very nice and friendly. It felt like home. It is a short walk away from the beach. We were served a very breakfast every morning. "

" Our stay at this hotel was a nightmare from start to finish. Not only did we encounter insects crawling around, the staff also demanded a cash deposit without prior notice. On top of everything, the noise from other guests was incessant, making it impossible to get any rest. "

"We stayed at the Smith House for 3 nights. The location itself is away from the main attractions but very close to the airport. There is a strip mall under the hotel which has a Pizza Hut, KFC, 7Eleven and a few other shops for convenience. The room itself was very clean and good sized. The morning breakfast was decent and few options to choose from. "

"If you are looking for a one or two cheap night accomodation around kuah town then can be acceptable. Room carpet smelly, toilet smelly, the room wasn't dusted since long time and the bed too. The TV for the few local channels available barely can see the images. Breakfast very poor also for local peoples, staff are rarely seen around when they are not busy with handphone job. For the 3 nights stay we had the room wasn't cleaned once, only replace new bath towels. Have to say that the aircon...
