"Our stay at the Arenal Roca Lodge was great. Although the rooms are a bit dated, they were clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. The view out the window was incredible, although the weather hindered our view for much of the stay. Randy at the front desk was incredibly helpful and very kind, he made our stay that much better. The breakfast in the morning was also very good, and everyone cooking/serving was very kind."

"Such a beautiful villa! secluded to the maxxx!! this hotel is the highest on this mountain! The walkway to the rooms are beautiful !!! scary at night when you think about it but totally worth it ! you are pretty far from everything buttttt uber is extremely cheap so I recommend taking advantage! its 2 hrs from San Jose airport. we were able to get transportion for 180 and 150 on the way back. 180 seems to have been their average pricing. The reception office does close at 11 !!! so plan...

"I loved my stay at La Mansion. Christopher and the rest of the staff was so helpful and genuinely kind. The room was spacious and beautiful. The property and view was gorgeous. "Super cool hotel. The entry drive is pretty crazy at first and it takes a while to get to the hotel up the mountain, but once you are up there - WOW! Nice place with a nostalgic feel. Really enjoyed visiting with my family and will be back again! Thank you"

"We booked the family room nd loved having the large covered patio with hot tub. It was so much fun sitting in the hot tub and listening to the rain pounding on the roof. The only drawback is that this room is just feet from the road. Although there were plants blocking the view it was pretty noisy during the day. But a family would love this room, small kitchen, 3 separate beds, and good price. But no pool on the property if that is important to you."

"We loved our stay here but wish we’d had at least two nights. It was raining so we couldnt see the volcano. Instead we took a hike to a waterfall and strolled the grounds which were gorgeous. We enjoyed the night tour and saw multiple species of frogs."
