"This hotel is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at! First of all, the service from everyone I came into contact with was incredible. "First of all the hotel staff location etc are absolutely fine however you can’t get over the elephant in the room or more to the point the size of the rooms. The phrase you couldn’t swing a cat in here was made for this hotel the rooms are tiny. There’s no where to put your clothes to we ended up living out of the suitcase and using a floordrobe. "This landmark hotel had a great breakfast and had many dining options within a short walk. The rooms were older style but well maintained. Had a fan available for the unusually warm weather. The gardsn area was a great gathering place for our family group of 12.short walks to shopping and water. Would love to return!"

"From the first minutes you enter the hotel, you are surrounded by an atmosphere of attentiveness and responsiveness. The staff is sensitive and understanding of your needs and is worthy of all praise. Without any doubt, next time I will definitely stay at the Scandic hotel. The employee at the front desk deserves special mention; he is a very caring and friendly young man."

A beautiful hotel with great service

"This hotel is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at! First of all, the service from everyone I came into contact with was incredible. From front desk, to the dining staff, and even a housekeeper who taught me how to lock my door lol. Everyone working there was great! Second of all, it’s a beautiful hotel, and I think at least half of their rooms have sea views. I was soooo happy with my room! It was clean and very cozy. Plus, heated bathroom floors blew my mind lol. Lastly, the included breakfast was so good! They also had unlimited tea and coffee available. I am definitely a coffee drinker and I think I had at least 10+ lattes even though I just stayed just 3 days. Overall, this hotel is worth their price! I left obsessed it."

"The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient, especially “Dougie”. He was so nice to let me check in earlier than schedule. Also, I really liked the breakfast buffet. Lots of options. The Scandinavian design of the building, the location of the hotel, the cleanliness and view from the balcony of my room—so delightful. I’ve been all over…and this hotel ranks way up there!!!"

Good hotel but budget sized rooms.

"This was a one night stay until our other hotel, on the docks, was available the next day. It's a great little hotel for all the basics - the beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, water was hot and everything was clean. The location is really good and just a few minutes walk to the docks (but not the water and mountain view I was looking for). The room is small and for a couple you wouldn't really spend time in it rather than sleeping, because of its size, but there is a communal room downstairs with large TV and tea/coffee is always available there as well."
