"It seems like a hotel that also catered for long stays for temporary workers? E.g. ski instructors etc? There were some rooms with kitchen facilities for everyone to use at each level. The only issue we faced was the water from the bathroom was chalky (the one in the toilet and communal facilities were clear). We were not sure if its safe for consumption and the front desk could only advise us to let the water run for some time. Eventually, as we were with a 2.5 year old kid, we simply relied...

"Hotel was ok. Location good for walking around but carrying ski gear to gondola base daily is a pain. Main annoyance was the barely warm water for showers each day. Not very pleasant after a long day skiing Hotel overall quite dated. Staff were friendly and professional as always in Japan"

"Amazing location to the slopes (3-5 minute walk to ace gondola) Awesome on site onsen that’s open 21 hours a day. Great breakfast buffet. Free parking available if you have a vehicle. We loved our stay here!!! Only negative was we wished breakfast would have started a bit earlier than 730am. "

"We actually loved staying here and the food upstairs in the restaurant is excellent. The rooms are comfy and the access to the mixed onsen is excellent. Probably one of our favourite parts. I will say that the shower in the rooms were very average. Plenty of hot water but it’s a very small setup and feels more like a van than a hotel."

"Absolutely amazing stay! This is our first time visiting Niseko for snowboarding and coming from Canada where visiting Banff and Lake Louise multiple times is our yearly tradition, we are completely blown away by this visit. The hotel has all the amenities required for the most wonderful stay. Breakfast has everything you can imagine, very tasty (I especially like the miso soup and healthy options available). Hirafu snowboard base is less than 5min walk up the hill and then after you can enjoy...

"Pensione Uno was great! The breakfast was delicious and the views of both mountains were stunning. Only con was this area is not super walkabl and buses only come every hour, but this is made up for the afforability of this spot. "

"I only stayed for 1 night and wish I booked longer! The staff was very kind and understanding when we arrived late to check-in. The property was nicely maintained, all public areas new and clean, and the public bath amazing! We slept soundly in comfortable beds and enjoyed a spacious and clean bathroom. 10/10!"

"Amazing stay. The entire family down to my toddler absolutely loved their stay. Room was tastefully designed and extrmeely comfortable. Kids play room was a must visit daily. Breakfast waa a sumptuous spread. "

"Loved our stay at Spa Shiosai. We only stayed 1 night but I would definilty stay again in the future. We were snowboarding at Rusutsu and it was an easy drive. A bit further than other options but the price and Onsen were well worth it. It is a very quiet, clean, and relaxing hotel. Thanks for having us. "

"Really love the place! it is quiet, clean modern and has everything we need. There is a halal place to eat just down the road. We will return here the next time we visit niseko. Hopefully there will a convenience store nearby in the future and it would be nice if there are fleece blanket on the sofa "

"Really fantastic stay. The location is great, right down from the main grand hirafu gondola and the hotel offers free drop off in the morning too. We rented from Grand hirafu annex which included storage but the hotel has ski storage too. There’s a separate men’s and women’s hot tub that’s real nice. Oh and a vending machine with beer and cocktails. The staff is super nice and helpful, overall great trip!"

Eventually, as we were with a 2.5 year old kid, we simply relied on bottled water. But other than that, he hotel and room condition are good. And it felt homely in the very cold condition when we were in Niseko. The breakfast at the hotel, for 2700 yen is also good. Staff was polite and helpful. Location was not bad too. We could not get a larger room, if there are."

"Great ski in ski out location for Niseko Grand Hirafu. So convenient. Easy bus from Sapporo to the hirafu visitor center about a 5 minute walk away also. We loved the private onsen in our room. That turned out to be a highlight. Comfortable beds, clean room. The outside of the hotel looks a little rough. Needs a paint job but everything else was perfect!"
