"The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we were not given the type of room we had booked. We were given a room with two king size beds which left no room to move around or for the usual seating area. Very tiny closet area. The hotel was apparently full so we were not switched to another room for two days. The room we were eventually given was satisfactory but the room and bathroom needs updating. Road noise and intermittent sewer smell throughout the resort. Lack of shade...

The problem is that there is constant road noise from the highway below including engine braking from semis. So whether eating dinner in the open-air restaurant, enjoying a drink at the bar, or lounging by the pool, excessive road noise is a constant accompaniment to one's stay.
