"Our room was filthy. We got there and keys under mat. Although the owner was in 1 of 4 apts he never told us about housekeeping (there was none) or trash or hoe to operate the outsode washer. He juat said hi. We had to ask for a garbage bag. We were there 7 days and wont do that again. No where to eat unless you take a bus. It was NOT a few minutes walk from beach or anything. The bed uncomfortable and towels stunk. Never again. "

"Carlos ir Charlie is a wonderful host that will go out of his way to make your stay the best yet. With only 5 bungalows to tend to our group had the whole place to ourselves. The property has an abundance of wildlife, our favorite were the macaws! Definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone who enjoys being surrounded by nature😉"

"We loved our stay in Luxury Standard Room 209 at Tulemar. We saw squirrel monkeys daily from our balcony, and toucans, sloths, scarlet macaws, leaf-cutter ants, frogs, bats, and iguanas on the grounds also. "We had paid for 2 nights in a standard room. Then our plans cha ged and when we asked Expedia to add another night, the standard room was not available. We then booked the extra night for a three bedroom apartment. This meant that after two days, we would be moving rooms. When we were checking in, we requested if we could stay all three days in the same place, and they honored that without charging extra for the three bedroom apartment. This was such a big treat for us as we are a family of four (our children are adults). I would highly recommend the apartment. It had washer/dryer, a full kitchen, and lots of room. We were traveling for 8 days and the last day, we could do laundry. A minimart was next to the location and that made buying fruits, snacks and laundry detergent so easy. If I could give it 50 stars, I would. "
