"This is a beautiful former monastery high up above Monterosso. You need to contact the hotel in advance to make a shuttle reservation and they will pick you up near the train station. Most of the walks between the villages were closed sadly, however there is a lot to do anyway

the newer area has a more relaxed feel to it and is very convenient for the train station. the old town offers a larger choice of shops/bars/restaurants. beaches at both.
