We only saw two staff/owners here - both were very welcoming and helpful - anything we asked they were only too happy to help. "No parking to unload luggage. No elevator. Had to carry up our suitcases three floors, a total of 53 steps. Bathroom with shower is 3ft x 6 ft including shower. Windows had no darkening possibility. Street lights shone in the whole night. No person in the hotel as staff. All automated in a machine. Too cold; called their emergency number for additional blanket. Nothing available. Just deal with it. "

"This hotel is of a very high standard. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast buffet was excellent and they catered a number of gluten-free options. We stayed one night before boarding the Bernina Express the following morning. The station is just a short walk from the hotel, as is the old town center. Altogether a great experience. "

"Stayed here just for one night after arriving in Chur on the Bernina Express and before departing for the rest of our vacation. It’s a very simple hotel, but superbly clean, very friendly staff, a fresh breakfast and right in the center of the old town of Chur. There are even thoughtful additions such as outlet converters in rooms so everyone can use their electronics. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I happened to be in Chur again. "

"The Mercury is a fantastic quiet hotel with views of the alps. The room was exceptional and large with big picture windows. Very comfortable bed. Reception were very friendly and helpful with a variety of places to eat nearby. The only downside was that the hotel is a little distance from the railway station but a regular bus service drops you to the door, so no real issues. Loved it and would stay again. Huge inflatable Lindt bunny on the roof of the shopping centre"
