"Great location and the rooms are large; however the design of the room I stayed at was that you can't actually enclose the area of the bathroom which is a bit weird. The breakfast buffet was nice and the wifi speed was pretty good as well."

"In the 'real' Shanghai beneath the high-rise buildings, seeing people as they go about their day, back from main roads. AC was a it strong, especially in the bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Tao and May. Some maps/brochures/helpful tourist information would be good. I would recommend this place to anyone."

" I really enjoyed my stay. Especially I liked the good hospitality and I want to mention some of the staff by name. Vicky from the concierge service, also Elias from the Chinese restaurant and Penny from the spa were so friendly and helpful! I’ll be sure to stay here again if I ever go back to Shanghai. "

"My go- to hotel in Shanghai- perfect location, 1 block from the famous Nanjing Rd, very upscale property, half block from metro line 2, direct to airport, luxurious rooms- everything is gold or bronze plated, but it works in a gaudy way. I’ve been coming here for years, and the room furniture and fixtures are showing wear. Otherwise, a great property. TIP: book a deluxe room, not much more but very large!"
