"Hotel is 3mins walk from the train station which was ideal as I was arriving into Omihachiman late at night. The room is clean and spacious. I booked a single room which is just next to the lift but I could not hear noise from they lift lobby. But I could hear the train if it was passing by the track next to the hotel. So the other reviewer was right that they could improve the sound proofing of the windows. I recommend the hotel for it's location. There is another hotel even nearer but New Omi...

"This is an older Hotel that feels like its prime time was in the 1970's and has never left that era and that was perfectly fine by us! This was a great experience we were greeted as we drove up to the property by name as they were waiting for us! The attendant grabbed our bags and lead us to the desk where we checked in and did so in perfect English. We were given our kimonos to wear during our visit which we did. "Extreme proximity to train station a priority. This means trains can also be heard from many rooms. Even though the soundproofing is good, this can be bothersome for a sensitive guest. Clean spacious room. Wonderful staff. Good breakfast."

"建物は新しくないハズですが、古さを感じない位に綺麗にされています。システム上は小学生の子供含む3人1部屋での予約は出来ませんが、先に電話で相談すると、大人2名で予約入れてメッセージ欄に子供の件を書き込んでおくと対応してくれます。朝食に関しては品数は少ないですが、ビュッフェスタイルになっています。宿泊者はロビー横のスペースにあるフリードリンク（宿泊者以外は有料）とマッサージチェアが無料で使用出来る点はオススメだと思います。"

"We drove to the ryokan from Nagoya Centrair and had no problems finding it. Parking was free and it was conveniently located right next to the ropeway (which was great!). Food was delicious and the onsen was great too. The only negative feedback I have is that certain parts of the room was dusty and perhaps the room needs to be cleaned more. Otherwise, it was an very pleasant overall stay."

"We are a family of 3 staying in a business hotel and while the service of the check-in staff can be improved, the room size and proximity to the train and bus stations win us over. Plus my train-loving son enjoyed watching the train leaving the station from the window. That also means that if you are a light sleeper, do request for a room away from the train station. It is not super loud, but you definitely know it when there is a Shinkansen passing by. "
