Second or third stay at the Keep, previously in the tower suite, now a flying stop so a "basic" downstairs room. Despite being street facing at ground level it's absolutely quiet. I live on a busy main road & this room was so much quieter than home. Palatial room with perfectly comfortable bed, large shower, microwave, fridge, etc. No staff on site most of the time which always makes me a little nervous, but I've never needed them, & the price reflects it. If I want 24hr staffing I'm welcome to pay (a lot) more for the privilege, but won't, should the fates send me to Yeovil again, I'll stay at the Keep happily. On-site parking is quite tight, & if you struggle with difficult parking I'd suggest a quick look on foot on arrival before you take the car in. (When booking (via Expedia) breakfast appeared to be a £67 option (not a lot less than the room cost), which I'm sure was an error. I didn't need breakfast, so it was no bother to me, but might be worth verifying if it would be a problem for you.)

Really good room - very large, spotlessly clean. My stay was room only so the Tea, coffee and biscuits and the in room and fridge available was really handy. Comfy bed, good wifi and plenty of plug sockets to recharge gadgets. Nice big TV with multi functional remote control ... although I didnt get past BBC1 !! Great bathroom - walk in shower, large bath ... really spacious Entry process worked really well - I received the code and my envelope was waiting for me with the keys. It was a bit dark in the courtyard but finding the annexe and the room was simple. I stayed on a freezing night - it was just about warm enough in the room but I did use the portable electric heater to make it a little cosier. Bus from Yeovil Junction stops right outside the hotel and the bus station for the return was only an easy few mins walk away. It was a really good base for a short stay.

Highly recommend, rooms are beautiful and so clean, amazing shower. Facilities are great and the owner replies to any questions in a good time frame. Just stayed the one night hut would easily return without hesitation 🙏

Lovely hotel, very grand 🙂 the room was clean, comfortable and huge!! Very easy to check in with the self check available and the welcome binder explained everything you needed to know. We didnt sample the breakfast this time, but will definitely next time! It smelled wonderful 😍 i would happily recommend this so all types of stay, great prices! Thank you for having us and see you soon I hope ❤️

VERY clean & comfortable
The hotel should really pride itself with how clean the hotel is. It’s not often these days hotels smell clean and look clean throughout. We had a great 2 night stay. The only downside is the small car park, not many spaces. We were woken up at 6:45 am to move our car which wasn’t ideal after a heavy wedding on a Sunday morning.

Weekend in Yeovil
We were catching up with friends and family in Yeovil. We hadn't been to Yeovil for about 10 years and didn't recognise the town. Lots of renovation going on which will make it more modern. Even the weather was good .We wont leave it that long next time .
