"There wasn’t much around the area that was open. The entrance of the hotel was just not pleasant or inviting. There should be more of a driveway or drop-off/pick-up area. There should be nicer entrance doors, greenery inside and out. You walk in and are greeted with a lot stairs with dirty worn carpet. The main lobby area could have been a bit brighter. "Great affordable place which is what we were looking for on our weekend getaway. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff was kind and really accommodating. If and when we return to Syracuse we will definitely be staying here again! Amazing place for the price!"

"This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a clean, no frills place to stay. The upgrades are nice and really create a comfortable space. The location was perfect for us to visit our Syracuse student and also to venture into Skaneateles. The owner provides lots of thoughtful extras that make you feel welcome and glad you came. "We travel to Syracuse a few times a year to see family. Wish we had tried Aloft earlier. It’s very close to the family. Love the open bar and food area. The gym is great and having a pool is awesome. Limited restaurants in walking distance. But Cafe Blue is great for breakfast. "
