We arrived shortly after having made the booking for and were kept waiting by the woman in reception whilst she did her best to charge us more by saying the booking had been for one person (it had not) and then that the room she was giving us was more expensive than the one we had booked and we might have to pay more (we refused). "Fantastic hotel! Definite must if in Pistoia! Rooms are really nice, they are loud if you keep the window open there’s a lot of people walking down that street all hours of the night. But with the window closed it’s great! "

"We had the top floor room with its own rooftop terrace. Very large and comfortable space with great views from every window. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. Shower could have been hotter and Friday and Saturday nights outside in the square can get noisy till 2am. Awesome location, would definitely stay here again!"

"Very helpful, friendly staff. Room (superior) was a really good size. A second day chair would be good! Bathroom clean and a good size. Bed comfy. There are sitting rooms, we used one each night and had it all to ourselves. Breakfast simple but everything you would expect for a continental breakfast. "Villa Parri is a beautiful well-preserved villa with amazing architecture and lovely surroundings. So friendly and helpful at the front reception. Great suggestions and helped us with the best places to park and see. It is off the beaten path so, with the exception of the amazing restaurant onsite, you have to drive to go anywhere. Of course the trade off is a small piece of serenity and quiet in a stunning villa."

Fantastic all-round

"Incredible facilities, rooms are cleaned really well, staff are always very attentive. To be able to access the grotta is a real highlight, it's an incredible place, much bigger than expected and the facilities are again outstanding. Spa had a lot of choice, the outdoor swimming pools were unexpected given we visited in December and it was never too busy, often it was just us. There are also lots of hiking options from just next to the property, starting from inside the hotel grounds. "
