"The property was lovely and the breakfasts were delightful. The owner has a lot of history to share and is quite entertaining. I would absolutely recommend this bed and breakast without reservation. Thank you for a lovely experience. "
"The front desk person was friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. He gave dining suggestions and checked us in efficiently. Thanks Econo Lodge!"

We're regular visitors to Williamsburg and the surrounding area. Been coming a couple times a year for around 25 years. We've stayed all over town, even in 8 or10 of the colonial houses for an occasional treat. We've found a new home base for future.

We went to Busch Gardens for Christmas towne which was phenomenal. We also spent a whole day in Colonial Williamsburg - lunch at the Blue Talon Bistro was superb. Virginia Brewing Company and Billsburg Brewing were both excellent (skip Frothy Moon).

Enjoyed Busch Gardens and Halloscream. Dinner at Merchant Square was very good. And a pleasant surprise was the Flipping Flea. A cute store with a bunch off booths- new items, vintage items, antiques. It's in an old gas station near the Pottery.

I mainly focused on the special events for Christmas and performances. Every one was top-notch, especially the first-person narratives in colonial attire (e.g., Nation Builders, Meet a Historical Person, Hennage Aud. performances, etc.)

Richmond Road is like Restaurant Row. Great breakfast spots (they close at 2pm) and many other food options. Really cool Christmas Store. The Outlet Mall is probably one of the biggest in Virginia. And Busch Gardens is a highlight.

This is a wonderfully historic city with not just colonial era buildings, but plenty of other attractions around. It is also very convenient to both Richmond to the west and the Tidewater area to the east.

We spent two 4 hour session with kids at Colonial Williamsburg. Not good for 4-year old, but older kids got something out of it. Printer and Gunsmith were particularly engaging

"Really fabulous location and value for money. It you’re interested in spending time in colonial Williamsburg, this hotel shares a parking lot with the visitor center where the shuttle picks up for the historical area.
It’s a cute sprawling hotel tucked away in the woods and the overall attempt at theming was nice. Yes the beds are only double beds but we fit just fine. "
