I have always liked this property. But this time we were placed in the back where there was alot of construction. And I had several guests with me. Just a suggestion if there's construction going on the don't use that area until its done. It really look bad. And we were placed i. An older model and in the sun room aroun the perimeters of that room grass was growing inside. Crazy.

Hot water didn't come out because of the faulty circuit breaker and the bathtube had smelly orders from vomit or drainage issue. We wasted 1 hour waiting for maintenance and later on, we were told that the housecleaning went home at 5pm. So, we had to move to another unit.

I had a roach problem. My wife killed one in our room around 2am and we called maintenance and they call and sprayed and laid traps. But as we leaving we seen several others by the trash can. Not water bugs but roaches. Can’t stand them things. This was our favorite place to stay. Been them several times since our honeymoon over 13 years ago but this will probably be our last. Can’t do roaches.

We always enjoy staying on this property. Love the price and having a full kitchen, patio, washer/dryer, and separate living room. I did notice black specs on the vent in our room this time so I rated it lower. Not sure if it is mold. Still would stay here again! Keep the prices reasonable :) thanks!

This was the second time we’ve stayed at The Powhatan Resort. We have enjoyed our visit each time. The cleanliness, the price and how well each unit is configured is unmatched. No place is perfect so I would say that the check in process could be made easier. They have very specific rules and there are no exceptions….even when it is a common sense solution. Once you’re checked in, a great place to stay.
