"They were able to give me an early checkin but did not disclose that the cost would be higher. The room was okay, but the toilet had a problem and refilled the tank very noisily every few minutes. Coffee machine was broken, and they charged $4 for a cup of coffee in the lobby. Restaurant had limited hours."

"I love how all the rooms face the courtyard!! The staff are amazing and I love the room!! The only thing that I did not like was that the room was too warm, but after adjusting the thermostat, it was much cooler."

"Loved that they called our room and checked in on us to see how our stay was going. That was very, very impressive! However, there were holes in our bath towels. But, not a deal breaker 😊"

"Since I’ve found the Expedia app I’ve been spending the extra couple bucks for a nicer room. Might be one of the nicer rooms I’ve stayed at in Portland. Except for my pillow, I liked it better than the Benson."
