"I stay at this hotel whenever I go to Plymouth. The main criticism I have with it is that the rooms are so hot, and the air-conditioning switches off during the night. The beds are very small, and very uncomfortable, and the quilts are so heavy and thick, which coupled with the heat in the room makes for a very sleepless night. "Absolutely loved this hotel. Receptionist on check in was very helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. "The location, grounds and building are lovely. Ambiance is unpretentious and professional, the food delicious. The rooms are lovely but our bathroom was a let down. Very deep old and somewhat dangerous bathtub, with mixer shower taps. No way to shower without flooding. Very limited shelving/storage - nowhere to put washbags etc."
