"Great hotel in a great location with amazing views. Unfortunately the windows are so dirty I couldn’t see out very well at the amazing views. The windows also create noise when windy. I was staying on the 10th floor. Unfortunately you are under the kitchens for breakfast and the restaurant so early morning and until the restaurant shuts in the evening you get a lot of noise on the hard floor above, luckily I had earplugs. Air conditioning /heating in my room didn’t really do anything apart from be noisy and I was quite cold. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Lovely swimming pool. Bar stayed open late. The hotel is in a great location and near to everything. If you come by train you can get a bus to the centre of Plymouth from the station rather then a more expensive taxi. There’s a Tesco very close for essentials and lots of places to eat nearby. All in all really good just don’t stay on floor 10. "

"Just used it as a night stopover but it was excellent and if I ever need to go to Plymouth again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place. Excellent!!!"

"I stayed in one of the 2 bedroom cottages, it was so peaceful in beautiful surroundings. Very clean warm with all modern facilities. Spacious and convenient parking right next to accomodation. The use of health club facilities was wonderful after a long drive. The staff i dealt with were friendly and welcoming and answered any queries I had. "

"It's a truly unique location... being cut off by the tide twice a day on your own island. It's stunning. The attention to Art Deco is remarkable. It was spotlessly clean. The service is relaxed not over the top. The food was really good, not superb and perhaps not quite worth the price, but I get that you're paying for the location as much as anything. Love that the rooms don't have TVs to be authentic to the period. It's fun having the 4x4 transfer over the beach or the sea tractor through the waves. We'd go back again. It was really special for our anniversary"
