"We stayed here Friday to Monday. We had room number 6 (top floor) which we didn’t mind - we got our steps in 😂 however the only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is that it was so hot (out of the owners control!) but it just needed some type of air con or extra fans. We had the window open the whole time which helped a bit. However - it was clean, tidy, excellent location and the owners are really friendly. "

"We stayed in Buttercup cottage. We were greeted by our host Rachel and made to feel very welcome. The cottage was spotlessly clean with everything we could need. The bedrooms were upstairs, a twin room which looked out over the countryside and also had velux windows for star gazing and the double room with velux windows. Downstairs was very spacious with a comfortable lounge, lovely dining room with a big table to eat round and take in the views, great kitchen with everything you need and so...

"The service, Julia was a wonderful host, and gave me an upgraded room which was lovely and en-suite. This was an extremely good, and professional thing to do, as the property, was empty of guests at the time. The breakfasts were fine, and on-time, and Julia and Paul were excellent hosts, who recommended a great place for a meal, and supplied my own keys, as well as treating me to an Hot Chocolate. "Lovely few days away in Whitby! The owners of Heathfield B&B, Linda & John, were very warm and welcoming and gave us lots of great advice on where to eat and places to visit. The room was very clean and homely. Good breakfast and selection. Great to have free available parking. Well located to access Whitby town and all the usual tourist spots (although a few hills to navigate!). Would definitely stay again! "
