Location good although we didn’t have the chance to explore as we were meeting friends for a Christmas lunch the next day. Room was nice and warm and the bed comfortable. "We stayed as a stopover on our journey to the north west at Christmas time and it was the perfect little stopover. The village was super cute with loads of Christmas lights and I think we counted 4 pubs in the village! The hotel itself is cute and quite small but lovely staff and service and we had a steak in the restaurant which was superb. Overall very pleased and great value for money."

"Fabulous team on the front desk, absolutely first class and as good as any 5* hotel even though this is a busy conference hotel. All the staff, in the restaurant, cafe and front desk were just lovely. Rooms fairly standard but clean and client."
