"Just felt like I was at home and not in a motel,the inclusions were fantastic,everything we needed was there,had a great stay,we were very comfortable,and enjoyed our stay very much,my daughter had a paranormal experience with a small child,we r both believers.any other reports like my daughter had."

"This was my second separate night saying at the Junction and I chose to return as hands down it was the most comfortable bed of my journey. The price was very reasonable, the location is great and convenient for accessing Hobart, Mount Field NP and other sights and experiences in the regiion. The decor of this motel is certainly an experience of its own - quirky, eccentric, asian fusion meets retro, with a bit of childlike creative artistry and a large sprinkle of glitter for garnish!"

"Fantastic property right by the Tyenna River. Our family of 4 enjoyed using the it as a base to explore the surrounding areas. The river was a big hit with the kids trying their luck at fishing. The cottage was clean, warm and comfortable. Thank you for sharing this special spot with us, we loved our stay."

"Rathmore was everything we had hoped for a tranquil weekend escape. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters, separate from the main homestead and very private, with delicious meals delivered by Cally - the lamb ragu was a favourite, highly recommended. Both hosts, Richard and Cally, encouraged us to wander the historic property, which felt a little like stepping back in time to a more peaceful era. We even saw one of the dam’s resident platypus! Cally’s local suggestions enhanced our day trip to Mount Field NP and the Gordon Dam. I only wish we could have stayed longer to take better advantage of the many hidden treasures along the route. Our weekend was topped off by an impromptu tour of Rathmore House, a true beauty of a homestead and, despite the age, very much alive. Cally and Richard clearly love their home and sharing that joy with visitors."

"Lovely heritage listed and beautifully restored Georgian manor, with well appointed and very comfortable rooms. Great location on the River Derwent, within walking distance to the town centre."

"Wonderful position with a view over the Derwent river. Squeezy parking and wouldnt cope with a large vehicle or a van. The road in would be difficult with a van and no area to turn around. No problems if youre just travelling in a car."

"We booked one night in the lodge. The instructions for check in were easy to follow and our room and the communal areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were very clean and presentable. The lodge is right right next to the restaurant and Altho we did not eat there, the food smelt delicious."

"This was a great stay between Strahan and Hobart and close to the Mt Field National Park, where we did Russell and Horseshoe falls. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable. It was great to look over the fields where the alpacas lived to the mountains. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable and we were instructed on what was available food wise before we came, as there are not many options once you get to Maydena. Highly recommend this place to stay."
