"Lovely location, spacious accommodation and instructions for late arrival (9.30pm) were easy to follow. Parking options were unclear and we did a couple of loops around in the dark before parking on the verge opposite our cottage. Once inside we discovered flat batteries in the aircon remote and frozen milk in the fridge. A bit disappointing as we were cold & tired on arrival and a warming tea/coffee would have been lovely. "It was a clean comfortable property on a farm in a beautiful setting. Our host, Peta went out of her way to make us feel welcome with lots of personal touches- home made bread and raspberry jam, fresh farm eggs, heated towel rail and night light, charging station for phones etc. Right in the middle of a wine trail and close to historic Richmond."

"The host was very welcoming and explained everything to us as we were guided to our accomodation. What a lovely surprise, a deck to view the rolling hills and river from, step inside this 1840 exquisite building and first thing that greets you is a cask of port with enough in it for 6 tipples sitting on that lovely deck (which also has a bbq btw). The bed was amazingly comfortable and the area is very peaceful. The host also suppies the many books he has written and published and he has copies...

"Perfect choice for an active and enquiring grand child. The hosts involved the children in the morning feeding schedule with the donkeys, alpacas, the goat Princess Mary and the long horn Highland cattle along with explaining interesting characteristics. A stroll with the dogs around the property on a crisp morning and visit the horses. There was plenty of space to run, specially made climbing equipment and inside activities at the barbecue hut. "We arrived for our stay in Hobart and waited until 2pm for check in. When we got to Hobart Apartments, there was nobody in reception, so i rang the number on the door. I was then informed that the room was leaking and unavailable for us to stay in and that we should have been informed of this 2 weeks prior but never were. We were basically left stranded with an 8wk old baby and nowhere to stay and when i told them that all she said was "google somewhere else". Very poor service from Hobart...

"Amazing, we stayed 2 nights. Loved the cabin, especially the outdoor bath. Had a few furry friends come visit too. Fire place kept us warm as it was a bit chilly at night. Only thing I would recommend is to have 2 sets of towels as it was a bit hard to get them dry after use. "
