"Perfectly located in the capital, lots of grocery options, souvenir shops nearby. Good space to share for 3 people, only down side is that the water from taps smelled obnoxious, be it the toilets or kitchen sink, it all smell really bad and not suitable for drinking. "

"Visited over the winter season and the property was spacious and very clean. There was a gentleman who shovelled snow off my rental vehicle every morning before I even woke up. There were tractors working overtime to ensure the roads were clear of excess snow. The apartment is close to the capital and easy to find. Will visit again "

"Great location both for getting around Reykjavik and for tourist transfers. Kitchen was really well stocked for a tourist apartment. Good heating. However, the hot water had an overwhelming smell of sulphur."

"This is the third time we have stayed in Reykjavik in Stay apartments. Would stay again. Spacious, clean, comfy beds, good facilities. Easy to access, great communication. Main point to note is that this is a great price every time we have stayed in expensive Reykjavik. The accomodation is priced great. Only annoying thing is the condensation each morning on the windows, but that could be due to it being a cold country and warm apartments. Still, we plan our return to stay here again! Thanks...

"The Ava apartments are ideally located for walking exploration around Reykjavik. We had a short challenge getting the access code to work and arrived before the cleaner was finished but it wasn’t a long wait. The street noise can be heard but just being in Reykjavik was such a treat."

"Stayed in small camping pod and loved it. Loved the atmosphere there. Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "

"Stayed for one night with my husband. Plenty of parking. The one member of staff (30. Oct 2024) who checked us in, cooked our dinner, and cleaned up was awesome. We found it a little inconvenient to exit the reception area to re-enter the area with the rooms, especially as it was drizzling. The kitchenette was stocked with the necessary tools for self-catering. The sauna and hot tub were clean and adequate. Unfortunately, our shower flooded the entire bathroom. The hotel is a little remote, but...

Nice Hotel for short stay

"This is a nice hotel in a great part of Reykjavik. The breakfast was excellent and I liked that they give you the option of whether you want housekeeping or not beforehand. The bed was way too soft and there was no noise protection at all. Every person walking by on the street outside was easily audible through the window :( but the room was clean and the staff were pleasant. It's a bit of a walk in the wintertime from the nearest bus stop but if you have a car it would be easy to get to."

"Great location and very walkable to many Reykjavik attractions, restaurants and shopping. On-site parking is very limited with 4-6 spaces available. We were able to find an on-site spot when we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was convenient and good quantity. "
