"Great location, maybe 1 minute walk to start of the market. Room was very large and bed comfy. Bathroom was fine as we had hot water always and good water pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was the inclusive breakfast. Service was poor (received toast, 5 mins later received the jam, 5 mins later still the butter). Also the breakfast food was average. It's all included so can't complain too much. Only other comment is bar doesn't open to 5pm. It's the only one on town ,...

"Nice hotel with really clean floors, comfortable beds, and basic services. The owner is very helpful when you need it. Located on the quieter side of town, this hotel is about 1.5 miles from the Embarcadero for San Pedro and San Juan. Laundry services are available for a reasonable price. Breakfast is also available for various options. "

"The staff at Hotel San Buenaventura was so lovely and kind. They helped us arrange a TukTuk into town and pointed us toward the Nature center close by. We loved the views from the pool and lake. They did not have an evening restaurant or bar and so we went down the street. Loved our stay."

"The four bed room house was amazing, the staff is friendly and helpful, most of all the view of the mountains and lake are a wonder to wake up to in the morning. Downside is a boat is the only why to reach it, do not follow the GPS up the mountain, stop at the pier. The stairs up from the dock up to the house are in water and will move with the waves, the dock will move too. "
