"It's basically on the Royal Mile so it's super easy to get to & you won't get lost. When i went to bed, some girls had left the bathroom kind of gross, but when i got up in the morning, I was so happy to find that it had been cleaned up. People were pretty respectful of quiet places which is always appreciated. I was in a mixed room but i felt very safe, something I value as a single chick. "I was extremely pleased with this hotel. Each room has a kitchenette in it. The rooms are extremely quiet and come with blackout shades. It's located on the Royal Mile so you are surrounded by all sorts of shops, restaurants, etc. I felt very safe in this area. So many things to see -- very historic. "

Great location, highly recommend

"Excellent location to explore the city from. Less than a five minute walk from Waverley station and walking distance to lots of the tourist attractions. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed in a suite which was fantastic. The king size bed was really comfortable. Lovely free standing bath and huge shower in the bathroom. Great high quality toiletries too and the bathrobes and slippers were a lovely touch. Great room to unwind in after a day exploring the city. We didn’t use the gym as it looked small. Mainly cardio machines with a few free weights and no benches. But the pool was lovely and warm and the sauna and steam rooms were great to use after a swim. "

"This was a very convenient stay for us because it was within walking distance to the airport and the car rental place. It was very clean and kept up very well. We really enjoy Hampton Inns and this one had the best breakfast! We would definitely return if we were in the area again. "
