"What a dream this place is. Fantastic stay that felt like we were welcomed into a home of warm friends. Food was perfect, stay was perfect, view and massages perfect as well. perfect place for some rest and rejuvenation. "We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

Fantastic quiet hotel with great service and food

"The Cubes is a modern clean hotel with comfortable beds and amazing views. The service provided by the team is fantastic and they will do and arrange anything to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is out of town and is very quiet. Nice if you want to get away from the buzz of Ella. It’s a short Tuk Tuk ride away, which again the team will organise (500lkr each way). We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast there as well and would thoroughly recommend the hotel. "

"We had a wonderful time in this beautiful and peaceful property. The spacious rooms have a fantastic view and we loved the restaurant offering yummy and fresh food - loved the freshly cut fruit at the breakfast 💚 I would say the biggest highlight are the experiences offered by the hotel with their experienced and amazing naturalist guide Sudheerah who brought us around in a beautiful walk and shared many interesting insights about the the nature and the wildlife here. We highly recommend to take these tours if you come here as it makes a big difference vs going where everyone else goes!! The staff is very very nice and welcoming and we are really grateful for the beautiful hospitality "

Mat look good but...

"The property must've looked stunning when built, but years of neglect show noticeably. Staff is very friendly but I think they're not very expert in running an accommodation as a business, so it was a lot of hit and miss. The owner must be obsessed with Versace, as everything has been marked with a fake Medusa logo, which more than classy looks tacky (but that's personal taste). The property is very far from everything and only accessible through a narrow scary road, so once you're in you're unlikely to be wanting to leave again. WiFi is way too weak to even check Facebook and only fee rooms have Netflix. Food is lovely but dinner are way overpriced. Location is very nice and secluded. Katerina who is there for a few weeks more is amazing! All in all, I think it is overpriced for what it is. Or the property should make that but if an effort to turn the place around."
