"98 Acres Resort & Spa is an amazing place, with its beautiful location, fantastic staff taking care of you 24/7, and delicious food. The hotel and rooms were big and very clean, and the pool area is amazing with its view of the mountains. My family and I had a really great time, and we were able to relax and get in zen mode. I can highly recommend this place for everything it has!"

"Spectacular views and lovely staff "

"The staff were extremely slow and never listened. Multiple occasions where I ordered something from room service or in the bar, and then had to chase staff 40 minutes later. It was easier to go to reception and get it myself. I tried organising a taxi for when I checked out the next day - reception staff were incapable. Very disappointing. "

"Very ineresting property that is quiet and serene. Staff is extremely friendly, kind and helpful but definitely need more training to be employed at a "five star" facility. Also, the facility has NO airconditioning and was extremly hot, humid and uncomfortable."

"My room, the views, landscaping/grounds, quality of the facilities, and food at this hotel are all superb and honestly in my view worthy of a much heftier rate. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this Nuwara Eliya!"

"This was my favorite place to stay in Sri Lanka! I wish I had booked more nights there. I stayed in the glamping tent, with fabulous views of a waterfall. The tent room was large and comfortable with a large outdoor deck. It had everything I needed - mini fridge, teapot, fan, rain gear. The WiFi was excellent. But the best part was the staff- all so kind and helpful. All meals were absolutely delicious!"

"Beautiful view from the balcony. Good large room. Great Sri Lankan breakfast but way too much for us to eat everything. A little hard to find as we arrived at night but the location is great once it's daylight. Owner very friendly & helpful. "

"A lovely hotel that i would gladly stay in again. The hotel is modern and exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel has a stunning view over Gregory Lake! What makes this hotel is how friendly the staff are. They greeted us with a warm welcome every day and even gave us a free beer. The only suggestions to make this a top hotel would be more staff, as there seemed to be 2 of them doing everything. "The opportunity to stay in a villa surrounded by tea fields was too hard to miss out on. We arrived from Badula on the train and were welcomed by the staff at the house. It was clean and comfortable and a 15 minute walk into town. The next morning we were given a great breakfast and then walked into the tea field adjoining the property. We watched the local women picking and sorting tea leaves. Certainly an authentic experience as we were in their backyard. The staff we very helpful in organising our dinner to be delivered from a restaurant in town for us. All in all, a wonderful experience that we would recommend, along with the amazing high tea at the Grand Hotel in town."

"The place looked nice. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Took personal care of their guest and even had suggestions. Gave us a little gift at our checkout. Breakfast was good however for lunch and dinner you need to go into town. It was heavily windy and raining during our stay so phone signal and internet was weak but they had a pool table, games and books to keep us entertained. Would of loved to enjoy the balcony but was closed due to the weather damaging parts of it but the friendly service made up for it as they offered us coffee & tea throughout our stay. Not a 5⭐️ hotel but as advertised little villa with 4 rooms. The downstairs washroom need an upgrade but rest of the cottage was nicely staged."
