"Hotel was up to standard of the company; however, the central area was not conducive to safe walking after dark. I was accosted by an unsuccessful 'Artful Dodger' during my 90 second walk from the only viable restaurant to the hotel. During the day such considerations were not apparent. The other Protea hotel on the lagoon would be preferable. "

"Rude management, bedding in a pile on the beds unmade, single bed duvet for two beds pushed togther .. refused to provide double bed duvet though they did provide a second single duvet, one single blanket and one towel. when questionned we were told its the onwers decisionn and the manager had lots of eperince so they were correct. it was explained that many customers complained about the beds then the followng mornign the opposite was told to us. Never again"

"This is like home to me. The staff was lbetter than family. They were amazing . The food was amazing . The staff is so helpful and I want to live here. The best vacation ever. "Hotels.com completely messed up the booking as we arrived the countyard said they do not do bookings through Hotels.com and we need to pay to be able to stay for the night and then try and claim it back from Hotels.com. Now trying to get in touch with Hotels.com was a whole other ordeal on it self. Cost me almost as much at the booking just to try and get in contact with a person that can help! Worst experience yet and I am a well traveled person that will definitely not recommend booking...
