"There are 3 non-camping places to stay in Sossusvlei, Desert Camp, Desert Quiver and the Sossusvlei Lodge. They are all owned by the same company. All meals are taken at the Sossusvlei Lodge 2-3 kms down the road. There is no internet at Desert Quiver. There is a nice swimming pool but one needs to drive to it. The rooms are very nice, however. "had a lovely stay at Desert Camp. Everything was super clean. The rooms are very spacious with a wonderful bathroom. The outside kitchen is fabulous with an incredible view of the mountains. They offer, at no cost, a box of kitchen utensils that has everything you would ever want (including a cast iron pan!)"

"I really loved this property and do plan to come back with my family next year. I loved the lodges and the rooftop sleeping option (we did not opt for that this round but next round for sure!). You can literally sleep under the stars! Everyone was courteous, professional, and kind. I highly recommend it. The only drawback was the lack of wifi anywhere in the whole area."

"A beautiful and unique property where the chalets are private by being far away from each other. With no lights around, the starts at night were fantastic. The staff were amazing and the food at their restaurant was one of the best I had in Namibia. We wish we stayed for two nights instead of just one. Highly recommend. "

"Fantastic stay in family chalet. Lovely sunset and sunrise. So very quiet onsite. Nice pool to cool off in afternoon sun. Great beer from brewery. Didn’t know what to expect but it easily surpassed our expectations. "

"Wonderful lodge in the desert. Very friendly staff, very clean. Rooms have AC. The property has a gorgeous pool and the property is well maintained. The wifi is sluggish, and rooms to not have a refrigerator to keep items cool, however the kitchen bar staff had offered to put a few items in their fridge, however- you need to go there and ask them to hand it to you. It's not a self-serve fridge."

"Had an amazing 2 night stay here, the location is incredible, set against the mountains with an endless view across the desert. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, rooms are great with good AC, especially liked the terrace off the room where you can watch the sunset, sunsets here are incredible. The breakfast and dinner was ok, not amazing, but the location and staff made up for the food quality. "
