"Staff super friendly and helpful. Place conveniently situated and safe. Well equipped. Aircon did not work though. Couldn’t get it fixed in our 2 days of stay, which was a bit of an inconvenience. Housekeeping not quite up to standard. Alternative solutions could’ve been offered as a nice hospitality gesture. "

"There are 3 non-camping places to stay in Sossusvlei, Desert Camp, Desert Quiver and the Sossusvlei Lodge. They are all owned by the same company. All meals are taken at the Sossusvlei Lodge 2-3 kms down the road. There is no internet at Desert Quiver. There is a nice swimming pool but one needs to drive to it. The rooms are very nice, however. "Super special camping site with access to swimming pool to cool off in hot afternoon sun. Watched sunset from small rock hill located near campsite. Really well thought out campsite with private toilet and shower. Showered under the stars, what an experience! Best campsite in Namibia that we stayed at. Very special place. "

"Fantastic camping option. Much nicer than the NWR camp grounds. Pool was particularly nice on the very hot day we were there. "

"had a lovely stay at Desert Camp. Everything was super clean. The rooms are very spacious with a wonderful bathroom. The outside kitchen is fabulous with an incredible view of the mountains. They offer, at no cost, a box of kitchen utensils that has everything you would ever want (including a cast iron pan!)"

"It's great place to camping just outside the Park entrance. It has shower and toilet facility and even warm water in the desert area. Worth the price. "

"The structure is perfect, and people were lovely. Plenty of hiking trails available and some to do with mountain bike as well (available to rent at reception). The facilities were very good, very nice food at the restaurant with plenty of vegan options, which was a pleasant surprise! Only thing, the lack of electricity at the camping site (which is clearly stated, so we knew about it in advance). Otherwise I would have given 5 stars to everything!"

"The spacious 2-bedroom apartment we stayed in was well-equipped, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Location was great -- close to the center of the city on a quiet street. The staff members were helpful and pro-active. Excellent stay in every way."
