"Impressive period property outside with very pleasant interior. Cheerful lady at reception. Spacious room for 2. Comfortable beds and scrupulously clean. Would visit again when in the area. "
"Amazing property and great hosts.
We were greeted by a young lad called Saxon while the owner was fixing the ornate brass door bell.
The gorgeous dogs and surroundings are a big plus.
Many thanks "

"Clean comfortable room. Staff very friendly and restaurant lovely. Food was amazing, the chef even came out to speak with us and make sure everything was ok."
"Great location for our East Anglia base.
Service was excellent and the staff very helpful. We stayed in the new wing which is
spotless albeit spartan. Would be nice to have a micro and fridge. I didn’t play golf but think the management could put some investment towards course improvements.
Someone told me there’s a focus on wedding bookings. I would say that marketing as a golf resort would compliment the wedding business nicely. In order to do this you have to have a really nice course and avoid negative reviews for golf."
"The area was lovely, we walked around and explored the park and streets alike. We hadn’t realised the dads army connection, which was a lovely discovery.
Unfortunately at night we were disturbed by loud noises from people nearby the property and obviously outside of your control."
"We stayed for just one night and had no complaints whatsoever. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and we left feeling well-rested. Bed was comfortable. I would recommend it. Although we had a shared bathroom, it was spotless, well-maintained, and perfectly functional—so it didn’t affect our stay at all. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic beer garden, overall great.
