"This hotel is a great value. But if you take a train there, book a ticket with the stop before the airport. Where the hotel is. We missed the last shuttle and took a $40 cab ride back to the hotel. Grabbed there shuttle early am . Not too much around but two restaurants and two grocery stores "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Hotel is close to the train station and bus transport. Handy to the supermarket on street level of the Hospital Building and the meals we bought can be heated on the 2nd floor microwave. Also in the train station a good place to eat B1 had an Italian name but great value meals. You can get 1000 yen all day pass for multiple bus trips so we visited all the Temples and Shrines and Wakayama Castle. Lisa is an English speaking worker at the train station & is so helpful."

"Amazing hotel with an even better view. I had a superb view of Wakayama’s castle straight from my hotel room. Of course the staff were nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is brilliant although it is about a 15-20 minute walk to one of the two close by train stations. I would strongly recommend this hotel for the view! "
