"All of us (family of 4, kids aged 12 and 6) agreed that our vacation in Kauai was the best we've ever had together. A big part of that was our choice of accommodations. At first I was a bit worried about the price, but the joy we experienced and the quality of vacation we had proved it was the right choice. Great location, especially for a family like us that chooses to cook breakfasts and some dinners instead of dragging picky eater kids to restaurants, the facility and grounds were beautiful, sun rises over the ocean, easy proximity to all the island's attractions, and the wonderful pool and water slides. We all had a great time and I think a big part of that was "home base" of the Waipouli Beach Resort. Even having to spend a chunk of vacation evactuated due to the tsunami warning did not hamper our good time. :)"

"The outrigger is centrally located to all the desirable sites on the island. Saves greatly on travel time. On site dining and very close to a variety of off site dining options. The resort is quiet, beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Staff is pleasant and helpful. I should be noted that one of the building is undergoing a full remodel so there was some construction noise on occasion.(Late July 2025) The beach is directly connected to the resort and there is easy access and fantastic views. The area at the resort is not really swimable, but safe areas are just a short walk up the beach. No lifeguard however. Parking is close but there is a daily fee. Would highly recommend."

"That hotel is amazing and right on the beach !!! Everything is beautiful and location is perfect !!! Hotel staff very friendly, room was clean, we didn’t had any issues with parking. Restaurant on the beach was amazing and we loved live music every night !!!"

"Absolutely loved this place! Beautiful landscaping! Loved watching the sunrise on the ocean every morning. Restraunt was so good we ate there twice even though it's on the expensive side. Would love to stay again! "

"We arrived after check in time and communication with very good security wss there was there with all the instructions and we went to our units and checked in the next morning. Our condo was well stocked with linens, towels for the beach and bath, and the best stocked kitchen i've ever had in a rental. The down part was not having AC and it was very hot and stuffy the first night. We went and got each of us a fan with more power and it made all the difference. There were plenty of pool and beach toys for our 2 girls. The location was amazing, 10 steos from the back deck to the pool and the beach access was just oast the pool. We loved our stay here and would cone back."

"Excellent location on Coconut Coast! Great value for location. Right on the beach, lovely gardens surrounding buildings. Walking distance to cute shops and tasty restaurants. Would stay here again. "

"We loved the family friendly atmosphere, and that there is a shopping center next to the hotel. There ia a laundry room, and the pool not big but perfect for a night swim. "
