"This was my first visit to this property (and Kauai) for a solo business trip, the property is adjacent to the Outrigger which is where the resorts amenities are located, the Beach Villas share their amenities. I had a corner room with a balcony very close to the Outrigger so that was very convenient. "This property perhaps is best appreciated by thinking of it as a 'condo ' rather than a posh resort. Very well run, clean, close attention to detail, free parking, loaner beach gear etc. If you are expecting water slides and a lazy river...no. Medium sized pool w/ hot tub that we rarely shared w/ anyone. Do note that the upstairs neighbors were loud -- early (4 and 5 am) in spite of 'quiet time'. We complained once and then let it go... Great home base to Hanalei and local beaches. "

"What a fun find. Most of the rooms only have screened windows with no glass but the rooms are quite comfortable. It felt like a classic Hawaiian experience. The oven access was amazing. We saw a sea turtle while snorkeling in front of the property."

"The unit we stayed in was not represented in the photos, it was a little old with no bedrooms with ocean views. The patio is as pictured, evening sun exposure. Turtles in the bay. Note there is no ac, but we were fine as we were out all day and here in December. Close to a lot of great things. Would stay again, but wosh they would have been more clear on what our actual unit looked like. "
