"Big — my wife enjoyed going around the resort and seeing the art, history, and Hawaiian feel. Due to it being winter, only minimum facilities open, but enough to enjoy. Better to go off-site to eat due to cost."

"This resort had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Free shuttle to sister hotel, refreshing free shaved ice event, multiple pools and slides. Staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel room was nice and had a full kitchen along with cooking utensils. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Hali’i Kai a quiet resort tucked into the Waikolo area. Its townhomes stretch from oceanfront, back to golf views. Watch for whales from its beautiful, family-friendly pool. Food and drink options, as well as a small gym are also located there. Our units furnishings were somewhat dated, but clean and comfortable. A beach cooler, sand toys, and boogie boards were available for our use. If you’re looking for a smaller, more private resort, I’d definitely recommend Hali’i Kai"

"Great place. Everything we needed including beach towels and coolers and umbrellas. The staff was very accommodating. Parking spot was tiny and inaccessible, but others were empty so we used them. We had two centipedes and some flying cockroaches visit us, but that wasn’t about cleanliness, just the reality of the area. Would return!"
