"The hut on the beach was beautiful. New, spacious and a good size bathroom. The property itself was very nice. Lots of snorkeling spots, sandy beaches and very pretty to walk around. The only negatives were the cost of transportation (boat) to the island was extremely pricy ($350 CAD return for 2) and the food was beyond terrible. "Çomfortabe rooms, good beds, pleasant staff. Best feature is snorkelling right off the beach. The food was excellent although choice limited on one occasion when only the full buffet dinner was availble. Chef was flexible though."

"This was our second holiday here. The food was even better than we hoped. The resort is beautiful with a decent pool, and the sea is nice to swim in. We did a snorkeling trip near the island and there was plenty of coral and fish. The resort kindly organized our transfers to get to the resort as this can look daunting to understand."

"Overall the island was very satisfying and staff were very accommodating. The food has big portion for lunch and the buffet had great selections. The only downfall i would say will be the flies. While i do understand that it is an island on its own, however when we were at the pool or having meal, we literally had to use one hand to just get the flies out of the way, this really was demotivated us in enjoying the meal . "

"The Nakelo Resort was absolutely fantastic and surprised us with so many things to do. From going on a daily boat trip to feed the fish and snorkel, to daily activities like cocktail making and feeding turtles to mini golf and tepanyaki it was the perfect place to stay with little ones. "Absolutely amazing but far too short. Even though we weren’t there as long as we’d wanted to be (due to our schedule, nothing about the hotel), the staff went out of their way to make everything spectacular. There was a special cake for my husband’s birthday dinner dessert, dinner delivered to our room after a late arrival the day we landed in Fiji, and a goodbye song the morning we left. "Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. The only downside was the cost of the meals was a little steep when converted to Canadian $. When you are forced to eat there everyday (as no other restaurants close by) this becomes quite expensive. "

"We had a great time staying at the funky fish! Accommodation worked really well for our group of young students. We also really enjoyed the food, and the drinks selection was great too! There were some really fun activities on offer, and I would definitely encourage taking advantage of these- we really enjoyed going to Cloud 9 and having a day trip to Musket Cove! "

"We stayed here for 4 nights and LOVED it. It is clean, safe & well lit up at night. There are professional staff as well, they were quick with all service, room service, restaurant, the food was good as well. The only thing is the pool is warm, not nice and cool for the hot weather we had. But overall it was amazing! Thank you everyone!"

"Incredible experience at this hotel from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The hospitality and service was incredible, staff are incrediblely invested in making sure you feel at home and that you feel relaxed for your total stay. We stayed in the adult section and thar was incredible. Staff come around with wet towels, mocktails and water during the day, cabanas are free, bars by the pool are incredible. 11/10 trip. Thank you thank you thank you!! Will be returning lots of more friends and family to this resort only!! "
