"We stayed at the Mercure Checkpoint Charlie for three days in November, just before the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The area is dense with history, much of it dark. Excellent location, walkable, U-bahn, lots of restaurants. Our double room was huge and very well-appointed. Would definitely stay again. "

"It’s a very nice apartment. There are few things to note. Cannot connect smart tv to the wifi so only the cable channels are available. There are no cooking facilities. No hot plate or oven but got a microwave. Felt very safe. It’s closer to every thing. They keep it very clean as well."

Very Clean and Comfortable room

"It is a fairly basic hotel and the rooms do not have any view. But if you want a clean comfortable room in a fairly good location then this place is fine. There is a few tourist sites in the Area and also Liquidrom which is the best Sauna/Spa in Berlin. The cleaner was friendly and did a fantastic job with my room. I also love the fact I can open the window and turn the heating on and off. Very comfortable room "
