"Matteo was beyond amazing. So incredibly flexible and made us feel right at home. The property, furniture, accomodations, and Matteo made this stay absolutely incredible. He had various reccomendations for hikes, things to do, and restaurants. Will definitely be booking again next time I’m in Rio. Definitely a must do while visiting Rio. "The property is located atop the hill in the favelas of Vidigal. The locals are welcoming and they have everything you require up there for a steep walk or motorbike taxi. "I loved my stay here. Because it’s high season, we didn’t get to extend our stay but Mayra and the staff were so helpful. They let us use the hospitality room to wash up after the beach. "My stay at El Misti was superb!! I stayed in a private room during 7-13 November. It was my first time in Rio, and this was the perfect place to meet people!! They organise lots of events, and having easy access to the beach with a ticket for a free chair is an addes bonus! I can definitely recommend El Misti to others, and will likely stay here (or at least visit the amazing bar during happy hour!!) when I return, muito obrigado El Misti!! Tom"

"Les Jardins is a charming place with beautiful gardens and quiet despite being in Rio! However, it is isolated in streets that are not safe at night; all travel to and from has to be done by Uber.I Only breakfast is provided; all other food has to be ordered online and delivered, although the staff are willing to do the ordering.
