"Mixed bag. Initially, staff was rude, and then later became nice once I stood my ground. Everything is reasonably priced, and a reasonable value. Restaurant is above average. They must have small margins because they are a bit stingy. Staff was very helpful to me, calling taxis and getting me tour guides and such. Of course I paid for these services. "We had a room with river view which was lovely. Air conditioner worked well and also had a fan. Hotel staff extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. "This is a new family-owned property and they are really kind and wonderful people. Very well situated, nice restaurants right across the main street (the location is slightly down a quaint alley past a small temple), and you can walk to Dasaswamadh Ghat in 5 minutes. "I loved the location of this place. If you walk out the front door and turn left, you instantly enter a traditional Indian bazaar. If you keep going you run into the Ganges river and the Ghats. Turn left at the river and you quickly hit the burning Ghats. The staff was also friendly and helped me with anything I needed. I would definitely stay here again."
