"Enjoyed my stay here! Really beautiful building with a lot of original features. Comfortable beds, warm showers, though could do with more bathrooms and the one in the dorm I stayed in was very small. Lots of spaces to sit and chill. Staff very helpful and friendly. Central to Barranco area (across the road from a supermarket!) and cheap to get a taxi elsewhere in Lima. Do take earplugs - the street outside is noisy!"

"This is a nice, classic hostel. There are a lot of different public spaces here to hangout, including a very nice rooftop sitting area. The kitchen here was well-equipped, easy to use, and readily accessible. I had a private bedroom with bath, which was good. The room needed a chair, however. Very good overall."

"The pictures used on Expedia for the rooms represent the room in its "tidiest state", but when you actually are in one of the rooms, the interior is in much worse shape (walls/beddding). The bathroom section has a toilet that barely has room for legs because a wall is in the way. At night mosquitoes can come in and so do cockroaches. While I am not scared of either, the mosquitoes are definitely annoying. While if you have command of Spanish, you can talk with the receptionist but if you don't...

"Do NOT trust the shuttle service offered via Jhonny on WhatsApp!!! Cause 14 of us to miss our flights - we were told 2 vans would be able to pick us up in the morning, but no one showed up. Cost the group over $1500 USD in re-booking fees and had to spend 16 hours waiting in the airport for the next flight."
