"Dartmouth is a beautiful old home, gorgeously decorated and yet very comfortable. The room was spacious, clean, great bathtub and comfortable bed. The breakfast was outstanding, as was the service and staff."

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the restaurant was excellent. It’s a preserved historic site, which adds to its charm. The staff was both friendly and professional, making our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel’s location was very convenient, as Eastman School of Music was just a five-minute walk away. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it! "

"Overall this stay was fine for one night but it it seems like no one checks to see that the hotel is being properly maintained. The toiletries in the shower look like they haven't been replaced in months ( soap scum on the bottles, one of the bottle's pumps was broken the conditioner was separated like it hadn't been used in years). The toilet paper holder was rusty and the bathroom sink would back up and gurgle very loudly every hour. Bed was pretty hard and uncomfortable. I didn't contact...

"I havnt been here since I was 8 and my parents had their wedding reception. The place is GREAT in 2025. Restaurant gets an a+++ as did our Sunday night bartender. What could set the place apart from be great to excellent is in the smallest of details. Everything seemed clean and well kept… until we got in the elevator. The hotel was low traffic during our stay, so this wouldn’t be the excuse. The elevators looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a week. This is being picky because the place is gorgeous. But when you have a beautiful hotel, something like that sticks out in a painfully obvious way. Our room was huge with scenic views. "
