"Nice hotel near downtown Ventura and the beach. Valet parking, at a reasonable price. Easily walkable to downtown and the beach, as well as the boardwalk. Several restaurants nearby. Downside - barn door for the bathroom, so your partner can hear and smell everything going on inside and the light wakes up your partner at night. Please hotels! Stop using the barndoor set up for the bathrooms."

"Nice enough hotel but confusing development without good signage of how to get to your room. The 4th floor is broken up by the middle Section which only has 3 floors, so unless you know this is the layout, it could take you a while to find your room on the 4th floor. I had to ask an attendant how to get to my room, which was a first. The restaurant/bar area was mediocre. I expected more from a Marriott in a beach town, but the facility and room was nice enough. "Everything was good except for the shower! We couldn't get the shower to run with full water pressure! As a matter of fact it was terrible! Other than the shower, Everything else was good!"

"I liked the size of the room. Plenty of room for two queen beds. I didn’t like that there are zero amenities. I miss the restaurant that used to be on property. It was good dood and so convenient. "
