"Check in and check out was very easy. The location was quiet and peaceful for a weekend getaway like we needed after the holidays. The location was perfect for visiting Great Barrington and within walking distance of downtown. When we got there, my husband opened the door saying it was the nicest Quality Inn he's ever been to (and that's saying a lot since he's picky). Would definitely stay there again and recommend it as well!"

Arriving late, we were pleased to find that despite the office being closed, our check-in was made easy with an envelope left for us to access our room. "I liked that it is an older style bed and breakfast place. You could say "classy" or "vintage". It reminded me of places where I would visit with family when I was a child. I received a personal welcome and orientation to the property. Breakfast was nice and cooked options were available for me to choose. Another guest in the dining room at breakfast was also enjoying the visit and it was natural to strike up a conversation and get to know each other. It was a more personal kind of stay than my typical hotel experience. "
