Beach Resorts in Vashon Island

"The hotel was wonderful. The staff were genuinely polite and welcoming. It felt like I was in the middle of everything. Pike Place is just a few blocks away, lots of restaurants within walking distance. There's a Target is nearby in case you need something. My only tiny gripe (and it IS tiny) is that there are no microwaves. Not in the room or in the lobby, or, if there are, they are well hidden away."

"Great hotel. Beware if you are walking this hotel has a few steep hills you have to walk. It was definitely a workout but worth it. "

"Older hotel but well preserved. Location is super convenient to many of the tourist sites. Walkable to space needle, Chihuly Museum, etc. There were a few restaurants in walking distances. Neighborhood felt safe during day. We didn’t venture out late at night. Advertised rooftop was okay; wouldn’t book it just for that feature. Staff very friendly and accommodating. One day, a desk clerk walked outside where we were discussing our plans and offered information and assistance."

"Very clean hotel room. Little small for 2 beds Great beds comfy. Quite some outside downtown noise. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. We were traveling with a wheelchair family member. staff was very attentive and helpful in helping us get around. We had a normal room, not wheelchair accessible"

"Loved our stay at the Sheraton Grand -- appreciated the Uber credit and very nice restaurant for breakfast. Service was friendly all around. Great location walkable to Pike Place market and all the fun there. Lost a point because the printer was not working for a boarding pass (had to be printed) and had to pay to get a page from their on site FedEx satellite location."

"I chose the Paramount because of a combination of convenient location (two blocks from Westgate light rail station and walking distance to most downtown attractions), affordability, and safety/quiet (fewer unhoused people than elsewhere in the area). Room on 11th floor was spacious, clean, and quiet (requested interior view room to avoid potential street noise), bedding quite comfortable, air conditioning worked without incident. Didn’t hear any noise from adjacent rooms."

"Second time staying at the hotel. Great transit options near the light rail and buses. Lots to do nearby, the hotel has a nice gym, and coffee shop. Would stay again! I like the historic feel"
