"The front desk people are amazing…very accommodating, helpful, and polite. The restaurant is charming, elegant but comfortable. The staff is attentive. "This property was so easy to get to using public transport from Victoria. I love the aromas of the public market, and choices for a quick meal. The room was very large and had a little patio with an view of the water. The complimentary hot breakfast was generous and there were healthy options available. I enjoyed my meal overlooking the ocean and downtown."

"The only negative thing that I can say about this property is the parking. Yes, you can pay for valet parking, which is a premium, or you can pay the flat daily rate. The issue is this area is a destination for shopping, dining and other things. I came back two out of six nights and couldnt park my car until people left the area when businesses closed for the evening. Otherwise, I liked this place and would consider it again on my next trip."

"This place is yes, expensive. What you get is something like you would expect at a world class hotel. By the way there is one more thing. I have no idea who makes their mattresses, but they are simply the most comfortable beds you can find ... outside Europe. Centrally located for walking to everywhere. The only downer is they have demand pricing so weekends are more expensive. So be it."
