"My only complaint is allowing people to hog the lounge chairs around the pool all day. They put their towels down at 8:00 a.m. and then merrily went shopping or out for breakfast and would not show back at the pool until 2:00…. There should be a 2 hour limit on the chairs so other people have a chance to enjoy. "

"The room was typical older mexican style but very clean, functional with good a/c. The grounds were beautifuly kept with a manucured botanical garden that I enjoyed everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would like to say thank you to Carlos for all his help. He was the best!"

Surfing was available however, a lot of rocks and my son received a couple of cuts on his foot and hand unfortunately. I didn't like that there was no food (breakfast, lunch or dinner included). "Room and bed were comfortable. Surprisingly quiet for the city, we were expecting much more noise. Breakfast was simple yogurt granola fruit and toast. We thought we would, but never used the pool because it was shady and cold. But very close to the beach and restaurants, even tried the restaurant, Kitty Cat, which I highly recommend! Roof top was enjoyable with a little view of the ocean. Place is a little dated but we assumed this. Was perfectly comfortable and affordable for our needs. "

Buenaventura Grand Hotel & Great Moments - All Inclusive

"We had a great experience. The location for an all inclusive is fantastic, within walking distance to the malecon and lots of local culture - a great choice if you want the all inclusive but have the city still be accessible. The food was quite good, albeit somewhat limited by the resort being a little small. Staff were very friendly. Pool was great and nice beach. It gets a little sleepy after 8 pm as the pool closes and there is usually 1 music act with not a ton of seating, but at least the bar remains open and you can always explore the city that is at your fingertips. Overall would recommend this place!"
