"Excellent Hotel, and would definitely book again, especially for the price. Booked 2 rooms and the only negative point would be that due to the rooms having a small kitchen area one of the rooms still had a very strong smell of curry lingering in the room from the previous occupant. This smell lingered throughout my stay."

"Really friendly staff! Didnt get the name of the guy but he was super friendly and he was working the breakfast (which was really nice) and was talking to me about plans for the day etc. The room was great, beds and pillows super comfortable, very clean too! Heating and shower fairly simple to use. Second stay in this hotel and ill definitely be coming back next time i need a hotel in Newcastle!!!!"

Comfortable room and no noise issues despite being on main road opposite train station. Only issue was that after going for early morning stroll my room key wouldn't work when I returned to hotel. there was a staff member in the corridor but they said they could not open room and I'd have to go to reception. "It was fine, not exemplary. Some staff seemed a little fed up and lacklustre. Service seemed to be an effort for some. Others were really good. The chap who seated us for breakfast and then was serving drinks in the lounge late morning was brilliant, cheerful and attentive. The room was ok if a little tired.
